Wilmington, DE, February 21, 2006 -- Corporation Service Company® today announced that it has formed CSC Trust Company of Delaware (CSC Trust) in connection with its recent acquisition of the corporate and institutional trust business of The Capital Trust Company of Delaware. The acquisition will allow CSC®, a leading provider of services to the legal, corporate and financial services industry, to expand the services that it offers to clients. CSC Trust will offer a broad range of corporate and institutional trust services as well as escrow and other agency services in support of the funding and transactional needs of global advisors and referral sources – including law firms, corporate counsel, corporate treasurers, venture capital/private equity firms, real estate firms, accounting firms, investment banks, qualified intermediaries, lenders and financial institutions.

The acquisition does not include the personal trust and donor advised fund business lines of The Capital Trust Company of Delaware, which was recently sold by an affiliate of CSC and other investors to an affiliate of American Stock Transfer and Trust Company.
